Mike Nikitas is a trusted adviser to leaders in financial services, healthcare, biotechnology, cyber security, government, education, law and other fields. He has trained hundreds of individuals to better communicate with key stakeholders and the news media.
Nikitas is a professor of “Media Strategy and Skills,” teaching graduate students at the Carsey School of Public Policy at the University of New Hampshire, Durham. He is a regular lecturer to physicians earning MBA’s at the Heller School of Management, Brandeis University, and has guest-lectured at Harvard, Northeastern and Boston University.
As a long time former TV news and business anchor at NECN (New England Cable News) Nikitas is a well-known, respected Boston fixture who led live coverage of countless major news events, including the Boston Marathon bombings, 9/11, and New Hampshire Presidential Primaries. He interviewed hundreds of major news makers and business leaders, and hosted numerous fundraisers, debates and conferences.
A keen observer of news media, he is a regular panelist on “Beat The Press,” the long running and respected media-watch program seen on WGBH-TV (PBS) in Boston.

Nikitas is a five-time Emmy nominee as Outstanding TV Anchor in Boston and has been inducted into the prestigious “Silver Circle” of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
He has a special interest in veteran’s issues and is the longtime emcee of the annual Massachusetts Veteran’s Day Ceremony.
Nikitas also appeared as a newscaster in movies, including the hit film “Ted.”
